Kong Sio Keong
Technical Director
Mr. Kong Sio Keong graduated with a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from the National Taiwan University in 1978. He also holds a MSc (Civil) degree from the University of South Carolina, USA and a MEng (Geotechnical) degree from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Kong joined Moh and Associates Consulting Engineers (MAA Group) in 1978 and has been actively involved in many specialized geotechnical works, ranging from site investigation to earth retaining structures and foundation systems, spanning across countries from Singapore to Macau. He also served as the geotechnical specialist for the Construction of Bangkok MRT Blue Line Extension Project.
Mr. Kong was the Representative of Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore in Technical Committee on Civil and Geotechnical Works, Standardization Department, Spring Singapore (2002-2010) and a Member of Working Group to develop a Technical Reference for the Design and Construction of Deep Excavation (TR26:2010), Standardization Department, Spring Singapore (2005-2010). He is a registered Civil Engineer of Macau.
Since joining Ryobi Geotechnique International Pte Ltd (RGI) as Technical Director in 2015, Mr. Kong has been actively involved in the geotechnical engineering works including the setup and management of RGI Geotechnical Laboratory, a SAC-Singlas accredited laboratory offering high quality soil/rock testing services in Singapore. He also serves as the Project Manager for the LTA-C1037 SI Works Contract and the Provision of Intrusive Site Investigation Services for Master Civil Consultancy Services for Changi East Development.
